Teacher Workday Camps at Wild Sage Farm

School’s out—come spend the day on the farm!

Teacher Workday Camps at Wild Sage Farm are designed to give children something they often don’t get enough of during the school year: time and space to play, create, explore, and simply be kids.

Our campers have the run of the farm! Days may include visiting and feeding our animals, exploring the woods and creeks, playing in the mud kitchens and outdoor village, gardening, creating art, building forts, imaginative play, board games, Magna-Tiles and Legos, sewing, nature projects, and plenty of good old-fashioned outdoor play.

We intentionally keep our days child-directed and teacher-supported. Rather than moving children from one scheduled activity to the next, we provide inviting materials, projects, and experiences and give children the time to follow their interests. One group might decide to build an elaborate fort, while another creates an art project, writes a story, plays a board game, or heads outside for an adventure.

And because we’re on a farm, a little dirt, mud, water, and fresh air are usually part of the day!

Our goal is simple: for children to go home tired, happy, and already looking forward to their next day at Wild Sage Farm.
