Wild Sage Summer Camp 2026

June 15th through August 7th

Ages 3 - 8

At Wild Sage Nature Camp, children unplug, explore, and thrive building a deep connection to nature that stays with them for life. We offer a rare blend of joy, growth, and wonder. Through hands-on learning, nature play, and meaningful relationships, campers grow confident, curious, and grounded in the world around them, all in a safe, and nurturing environment led by experienced educators.

Each day is balanced between specialized skills instruction, free nature exploration, natural science, and games. Wild Sage Nature Summer Camp, is a screen-free experience and takes place entirely outdoors, rain or shine. We do have many areas of shelter outdoors.

Our camp is Montessori and Waldorf inspired.

Summer CAMP 2026 Themes

SESSION 1: THE SHELTER

Through purposeful work with tarps, ropes, and essential knots, children build their first connection to the land—developing independence, coordination, and respect for the natural environment.

SESSION 2: PIRATE SCAVANGER HUNT

Campers have a blast searching for hidden treasures and discovering the exciting world of pirates. They create their own pirate gadgets, engage in fun pirate games, and embark on thrilling pirate-themed scavenger hunts.

SESSION 3&9: PLANT POWER

If your camper has a green thumb sign them up for this week.  We cover everything from compost, to invasive weeds, to pollination, to photosynthesis!

SESSION 4&10: FLAVORS OF THE FARM

Explore the richness of farm-to-table cuisine using fresh ingredients. Young chefs will whip up sweet treats and savory bites, harvest herbs and veggies straight from the soil, and discover how healthy ecosystems support the foods we love.

SESSION 5: BASKET WEAVING

Weave beautiful baskets for carrying all your treasures! Basketweaving teaches appreciation of natural materials, and important hand skills.

SESSION 6: BUZZ AND BLOOMS

Discover the buzzing world of pollinators and learn how bees, butterflies, and other helpful critters keep ecosystems thriving. Young naturalists will build cozy bug hotels, plant vibrant wildflowers, and create hands-on crafts like butterfly feeders to support these important species.

SESSION 7: FAIRY TALE FANTASY

Storytelling and outdoor exploration. Campers will craft whimsical fairy houses and build woodland sculptures. Great opportunity to discover the magic of storytelling and fantasy play while making lasting memories with friends.

SESSION 8: ARTS AND CRAFTS

Campers explore colors, shapes, and imagination. This enriching experience not only enhances fine motor skills but also nurtures self-expression and boosts confidence. The joy of creating something unique fosters a love for art.
